ok, I'm going to say my peice about this one.
I've heard more than one person say that male ballet dancers are sissies or not many because they dance around in tights and ballet shoes.
But think about this for a second: It takes BALLS to get up on stage in front of several hundred people and dance around in those tights and ballet shoes. Plus, it's HARD WORK to become a ballet dancer, weather your female or male.
And yes, it is kind of funny seeing a guy in those really tight tights because there are apperently not athletic cups in the ballet world.
But those guys should still get a round of applause for what they do. I know alot of guys who are "manly" who wouldn't be able to do half the stuff male dancers do.

did you know that there were zero female ballet dancers when it all started out? the males also had to play the female roles. it was considered taboo for a woman to do ballet actually... so remember that next time you say something about male ballet dancers

i think its pretty ballsy as it is, them being in tights and not getting stiff down south. plus all the practice & blood, sweat, & tears every dancer puts in when they perform in front of people, especially the odd reputation tht supposedly the female dancers either starve themselves or make themselves puke because they have 2 be so small.
